ERA

Era loudspeakers is part of Signal Path International, the company founded by David Solomon and Jim Spainhour to import Musical Fidelity electronics to the United States. They have expanded their company with ERA designs to bring musical excellence back to small speakers. The design of the speakers started with recruiting Michael Kelly of Aerial Acoustics to design completely new speakers from the drivers up, since there were no existing parts that could yield the level of performance desired. Michael started his design career at A/D/S (Analog and Digital Systems) in the 1970s where the high performance mini-monitor really got its start with the ADS 200 and 300. The Idea at ERA was to design physically small speakers that would do an outstanding job of making music and were attractive not industrial looking. They have succeeded beyond expectations.
